"Hurry up Hamada! If we wait any longer then Halloween will be over." Bug yelled from the cafe.

"You might as well go get ready in the cafe restroom. Hiro isn't going to be out for another eon." Bug said to Bantha.

Bantha nodded to her red-headed friend and grabbed her Walmart bag full of costume supplies. She headed to the restrooms while Bug waited for the rest of the gang to show up. Spark was behind the counter slipping her hand into the glass display and snatching a cookie.

Spark was ready to go with her fluffy ears and fangs in place. Fake blood dripped from her elongated fingers that functioned as claws. Her clothes were torn expertly like they were slashed by wild animals.

Bug was spending her Halloween as a Genderbent Captain Hook. Her red hair was pulled up in a high ponytail. She wore a blue corset and a hood that ended halfway down her torso with cap sleeves in black. Her skirt went around halfway down in the front and down to her knee in the back, done in a beautiful black and blue fabric. She had a plastic hook covering one hand. Her legs where covered the rest of the way by black leggings and leather knee high boots.

Sachi was fixing the fairy wings that extended from her fluffy pink dress. She had so much glitter on her she could have supplied an entire crafts store. Her black hair was sleek and perfect, pinned up in a bun. A small crown sat atop her head.

Cass was just clearing the last of the dishes when GoGo, Wasabi, HoneyLemon, and Tadashi walked into the cafe.

Each was dressed in their costumes already. GoGo was wrapped tightly in black garments, only showing her eyes. Two katanas were strapped to her back and a belt held plastic ninja stars.

Wasabi was covered in a heavy set of red samurai's armor. His sword was at his side and the helmet barely covered over his head.

Honey lemon was covered head to toe with cheetah print. The costume was complete with pointy ears, a cat's tail, and black cat eye glasses.

Tadashi brought up the end with full zombie hunting attire. In one hand he had a crossbow and bolts for it clipped to his belt. He had a torn vest over a faded and dirty t-shirt. His skin looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. His jeans had two different length pant legs and a cloth tied around one leg. His cap was backwards and he had a cross around his neck. He had fake bruises and scratches on his arms.

"Sorry, we're late. Honey went a little crazy on my makeup." Tadashi apologized.

Honey Lemon smacked his arm playfully, adding "Whatever! You look amazing!"

"Don't I always?" He joked.

"Well I wouldn't say that..." GoGo snickered.

"Wow Tadashi, nice costume! I guess you get to hunt me!" Hiro said walking down the stairs.

Hiro's eyes looked hallow and his skin looked grey. Fake blood trailed from the corners of his lips. His jacket was missing a sleeve. He looked like he was missing an arm with one tucked under the cover of the jacket. His shirt was torn, burnt and splattered in fake blood. He walked with a exaggerated limp. Fake flesh hung off his leg and he had long scratches on his arm.

"Nice work Hiro. That costumes looks sweet." GoGo said.

"It's decent." Bug allowed.

Hiro and Bug each sent an intense glare at each other, not noticing the entrance of their friend. "Ugh, guys? Are we all ready?"

Hiro was the first to break the glare to look at Bantha. Bug followed in suit as well as everyone else. The older of the group smiled as they evaluated her costume.

Bantha was standing in front of them with a full blown zombie costume. She had faded and bloody bandages wrapped around her torso and shredded skinny pants. Her eyes were done in the same hallow fashion as Hiro's but she had more gashes over her skin. Her hair was loose over her shoulders in a bit of a mess. Her feet were bare.

"Oops, sorry Hiro." She said quietly.

"That's awesome Bantha!" Honey Lemon squealed. "You put all that together."

Bantha smiled and nodded. "Thanks Honey! I did my best."

"That's looks so sweet." Bug said with a smile.

"Guys! We're going to be late!" Wasabi announced. "We've gotta go!"

"Geez Wasabi, it's not like Fred's gonna care if we're late. We're like VIPs." Spark mused.

The group exited the building and piled into Wasabi's car. They soon reached the front of their friend Fred's mansion. Lights advertised the ginormous party and a line of people were at the door.

They all filed out of the car and walked briskly to the door. A heavily muscled guard looked down them and said in a husky voice, "Invitations."

"Invitations Wasabi?" GoGo said authoritatively.

"What?! I don't have them. We didn't get any remember."  Wasabi panicked.

"What?!"

"Hey guys! What are you doing out there. The parties in here!" Fred greeted them.

He tapped the guards shoulder and nodded. We all stepped past the red rope and looked at our host. Fred wore a blue suit with a large red 'S' in the center of his chest. A six pack was padded into the suit as well as muscles in every other part.

"Nice super undies." GoGo teased.

"Don't you dare insult the greatness that is Superman!" He retorted. "We're about to open the haunted house."

Fred's home was covered in cobwebs, zombies, ghouls and fake blood. People were all around in different costumes.

"Did you invite all of San Fransokoyo?" Tadashi asked.

"Only the ones at the college." Fred said promptly.

They all rolled their eyes. Fred led them to the east wing of the mansion. Screams echoed down the hall. Eerie music played over the loudspeakers and decorations were especially thick in this area. "Welcome friends to the Haunted East Wing! Enter as you dare."

Bug scoffed. "This should be easy."

"Yeah Fred, how scary can it be? All you fear is doing work and a shortage of comics." Spark added.

The two shared a high five.

Fred cackled. "If you're so confident, you two can go ahead. You're going first."

"Psh, whatever." Bug brushed it off.

"Let's get this over with."

"Hold up! I'll go with you guys." Bantha said.

"The more the merrier." Spark said.

Bantha, Bug and Spark entered the haunted wing with a yawn. It looked like every other haunted house. Words were written in blood. Yawn! Another jumpscare. The three were starting to get bored with the different rooms. They came up to a door with around 20 warning signs.

They spared a glance at one another before pushing the door open. There was someone laying limp on the floor in a pool of red. An ax was embedded into his back. A girl wearing a bloody apron was standing over him with a mask in her hand. She was crying profusely. When she saw us, she ran over to us and grabbed Spark's arm.

"Please help me! Something happened! This isn't part of the plan!"

"Nice one lady, we're not falling for it." Spark said dismissively.

"No, please! This isn't fake. Someone's in the Haunted House!"

"Okay, give it up." Bug said.

"I'm not lying!"

With a sigh, they walked up to the body and examined it. It was eerily still. His hand was awfully cold to be living. Spark and Bantha looked at each other and poked the body in it's side. Bug stood aside looking at the scene. No response.

A shrill scream echoes from behind them. When they turned, the girl was gone, her mask on the ground.

"Guys! Someone's in here." Bug said shakily. "This guy is way too cold to be alive."

"Hold on. Let me feel for a pulse." Spark responded.

She reached for his wrist slowly. Only centimeters away from his wrist, his hands moved and grasped on to Sparks wrist. They screeched.

His face rose from the pool of red, dripping in the liquid. In the same instant, the girl appeared behind Bug and clasped a hand on her shoulder. Her face was covered in blood and a knife was in her throat. They screamed and ran for the next room. Bantha lead the charge as they weaved their way out of the haunted house.

As they ran, the girl kept reappearing as well as the man.

They burst through a curtain still screaming. The three girls were met by the laughing faces of their friends. GoGo had to take off her head covering so she could breath. Fred was on the floor.

"What happened to big tough Buggy? Did Buggy get scared?" Hiro laughed.

"If you're so fearless, go in there yourself!" Bug challenged.

"Fine, who am I going with?" Hiro asked.

"That's the catch. If you're so brave, go by yourself."

"By myself?!"

The group looked at the two with interest.

"Yeah. Since you seem to be so brave." Bug said snakily.

"That's not fair?! You had Spark and Bantha!"

"Are you saying you're chicken? Is Hamada a big fat chicken?"

Hiro laughed. "You'll see who's chicken!"

Hiro stomped into the Haunted house before Bug could respond.

"I'll show her." He grumbled.

He looked down the hall gulped.

This is quite a bit scarier than I though.

Hiro inched down the hall and turned into the first door. In the room was a metal operating table. Someone in a hospital gown was strapped to the table. He kicked around trying to get loose. From a door on the other side of room, a man in scrubs entered. From a table of medical equipment, he plucked a scalpel.

The man on the table started screaming.

"Stop! Please don't kill me! Please let me go!"

The doctor put a hand on the man's torso. Hiro's eyes widened as he drove the scalpel down in a swipe at the man's chest. A spurt of red sprayed back at the doctor. He repeated it until the man went limp.

Hiro screamed and ran out of the room. When he exited the room, he was greeted by a kabuki mask with great fangs.

"Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!"

Hiro tried to push the entrance to the haunted house open. It didn't open from within the attraction. He turned and ran through haunted house. He didn't look up until the very end. And even so, the same person that got the girls managed to get Hiro. When he burst out, he was mid-scream.

The girls were on the ground laughing. Even Bantha was giggling.

"How brave Hamada! Even Sachi can't scream higher than that." Bug laughed.

"Shut up!" Hiro snapped with a bright red face.

Others were starting to flow in.

"The rest of this should be easier with more people in it. Less focus goes on each person. Who's going next?" Fred said.

After a moment of silence, Tadashi stepped forward. "Might as well..."

Honey Lemon followed in suit. "Then I'm going too."

"Great!" Fred exclaimed. "Step into this house of horrors."

"Here we go." Honey mused.

The two friends entered the attraction. Honey Lemon was to busy marveling at the decorations and the complexity of it all to notice Tadashi moving forward. When she came to her senses, she was alone in the middle of a fake cemetery.

"Tadashi? Where did you go?" She called timidly.

Groans echoed around the tombstones of the area. Fog was thick in the air. Honey Lemon coughed. "Tadashi! Where did you go?"

"Honey? Where are you? I don't see you." Tadashi called.

A hand grasped her ankle and she squealed.

"Honey!"

Tadashi came running in from around a few stones. Honey Lemon leapt away from the hand. Behind her she saw the mask of a decomposing zombie. The dramatic lighting made it even more terrifying.

"Eep!"

Tadashi took her hand and darted towards where he had come from. They broke through to the next room into another blood splattered room. Honey stayed attached to Tadashi's side the rest of the trip.

When they got to the last room and faced the final scare, they both took full effect. They burst through the exit and took a tumble. Their friends were staring when they found themselves laying on the ground. Honey giggled and hopped up, offering a hand to Tadashi.

"Sorry."

"It's alright Honey."

They all looked at the two for a bit before Fred broke the silence. "Okay, I'm done with waiting. I'm going in!"

They all looked at each other.

"You are not taking Sachi." Tadashi said.

"I'm not going with him." Wasabi argued.

There was more silence. "Fine, if you babies don't go I'll go with SuperNerd." GoGo announced.

"Hey!"

"Come on...." GoGo heaved.

Fred followed her into the house with excitement. "I've already been through here like 10 times but ya know. It's still so awesome that I have no problem doing it again."

"Whatever."

GoGo pulled her mask over her nose and walked briskly through the maze of decorations. Fred was so busy pointing out all the details, he didn't notice GoGo. She formulated a plan. While they were in the cemetery, she slipped away behind a headstone.

When Fred passed the stone, she jumped in front of him and bellowed. He fell over with a scream and hit his head.

"Hahahahhahahah! That was awesome!" GoGo laughed.

Fred pouted. "Not fair." He grumbled.

He pouted the rest of the way. GoGo started to feel bad. "Hey Fred. I'm sorry."

He didn't say a thing.

"Fred..."

Fred continued the silence.

"Fred!"

"Brrrraaagghhhh!" He screamed and lunged at GoGo.

GoGo screamed and leapt away. Realizing what he did. She started to laugh. "Great. Now I look like a wuss."

"Payback!"

They exited it laughing.

"Who was it that screamed?" Hiro asked.

"Fred!"

"GoGo!"

They looked at each other again. They all laughed.

"Okay." Fred started. "Last ones. Wasabi, Sachi, go ahead."

"What?! But I-" Wasabi protested.

"Come on Wasabi! Let's do this!" Sachi said.

As soon as the door closed, there was screaming for 6 minutes straight. When they came out, Sachi was dragging Wasabi behind her.

"Why did I get stuck with the big baby?!" She complained.
